When I look at the book and read what she did and what I did, it’s like looking into someone else’s life. Yet, I know it’s me.  It’s very enjoyable to go back and look at pictures and read what she wrote. My mom has passed which makes it all the more pleasurable because it gives me a sense of who she was then.  It gives a pure connection.

The second book that I recommend is more about pictures. Because I am a professional photographer, I know the value of a picture. In cases of devastating fires, or water damage, the first thing a family remembers to grab are their pictures. So keep them handy and within easy reach. Pictures are also important because the baby changes so rapidly over the first year.   So each month, take a picture and put it in your journal. It is so fun to watch the changes each month and write a journal about your new sweetie. So this journal book is more about the pictures. With all these smart phones there is no reason not to be able to take a picture. Make your journal fun and informative so years later, your baby, now adult will get to enjoy his first days. Make them memorable for the whole family.

Furthermore, you could label all the occasionally used items and place them safely in one portion of the organizer while putting in other areas the ones that you use for your baby in a daily basis.
